About The Womb Hive

“Instead of going back to the lives we once lived, motherhood invites us to be in the life we now have, embody our divine feminine flow and trust and allow the integration of the experience of birth to occur through sacred rest, nourishment and connection.”

— Isabella Giannasca (Founder of The Womb Hive)

Isabella Giannasca

The Womb Hive was birthed as founder, Isabella, fell pregnant with her daughter, Mila. Diving headfirst into birth podcasts, birth professionals instagram pages and more, she was determined to soak up all the information that would allow her to feel confident in having a natural and empowered birth experience.

It was here that she found the world or not-so-existent world of Postpartum — soon realising the immense need to advocate for slowness and rest in a fast-paced world that was not made with a mother in mind.

While currently offering services that support women in their sacred window* to deeply listen, heal and connect to their womb space following birth, Isabella is also passionate about women and the womb beyond birth. She shares:

“Our womb is our voice. It is here that lies our deepest desires, the truth of our being and our self-expression. When we intentionally connect to this space and express up and out through our heart, profound healing and transformation is inevitable. Not just for women but for the world.”

*In Ayurveda the Sacred Window is considered the 42 days after birth. It is said that the 42 days after birth determine the next 42 years of a mother’s life!

Why The Womb Hive? *

During Isabella’s pregnancy journey she was constantly visited by bees in the most uncommon of places and knew that there was a deeper message behind their presence. After researching it was found that the queen bee represented motherhood and fertility and that their honeycomb form perfect hexagons (seen in the logo) which represent harmony — the essence of Ayurvedic wisdom.
